The database includes: - Weapons - Simple, Martial, and Arcane weapons with full D&D 2024 properties and mastery - Armor - Light, Medium, and Heavy armor with AC calculations - Shields - Standard and magical shields - Shield Charms - With damage reduction (DR) values - Wondrous Items - Magical items that can be worn or carried - Potions - Consumable magical elixirs - Other Consumables - Grenades and other single-use items
Database Features
- Dynamic Updates: The database updates automatically when new items are added
- Filter by Type: View mundane items, magic items, or all items
- Complete Properties: All weapon properties, armor stats, and magic item details
- Equipment Slots: Shows which slot each item occupies (Main Hand, Body, Charm, Gear, etc.)
Database Notes
- Weapon Slot: All weapons use
main_handslot type, meaning they can be equipped in either the main hand or off-hand - Shield Slot: Shields use
main_handslot type and can be equipped in either hand - Armor Slot: All armor uses
bodyslot type - Shield Charm Slot: Shield charms use
charmslot type (dedicated charm slot) - Gear Slot: Wondrous items and miscellaneous gear use
gearslot type - Max Dex Modifier: Light armor has no limit, Medium armor caps at +2, Heavy armor allows no Dex bonus
- Versatile Weapons: Can be used one-handed or two-handed for increased damage
- Mastery Properties: Available to characters with Weapon Mastery feature (D&D 2024)
Equipment Mechanics
Damage Reduction (DR)
Shield Charms provide damage reduction: - Base DR: Reduces all incoming damage by this amount - Arcane DR: Total DR against Arcane damage sources - Shield charms can be activated/deactivated as needed
Two-Handed Weapons
Weapons with the "Two-Handed" property occupy both hand slots when equipped, preventing use of shields or off-hand weapons.
Versatile Weapons
Weapons with the "Versatile" property can be wielded with one or two hands, with increased damage when used two-handed.
