Class Overview

This reference shows how the campaign classes map to the four magic systems and any necessary adaptations.

Full Caster Classes

Mage

  • Magic System: #Arcane
  • Spellcasting: Intelligence-based
  • Description: Combines scholarly study with innate magical power
  • Notes: The quintessential Arcane spellcaster, merging the traditions of wizards and sorcerers.

Psion

  • Magic System: #Arcane
  • Spellcasting: Charisma-based
  • Description: Wielders of raw mental force who manifest psionic powers through willpower and psychic discipline
  • Notes: Powers come from Psionic Disciplines (subclasses) and Psionic Talents (universal modifiers). No spell list — all abilities are discipline-based with stackable modifier toggles.

  • Magic System: #Arcane or #Infernal
  • Spellcasting: Intelligence-based
  • Description: Seekers of hidden knowledge and forbidden secrets
  • Notes: Can lean into Arcane or Infernal depending on subclass.

  • Description: Channel divine power through faith and devotion

  • Notes: Arcane magic channeled through technology and crafting.

  • Description: Masters of unlocking magic in everyday objects
  • Notes: Similar to Wandslinger but focused on magical infusion and items.

Barbarian

  • Notes: Uses Rage rather than magic. Pure martial prowess and physical power.

Bard

  • Notes: Bards choose their magic system based on their inspiration source (gods = Divine, nature/fey = Fae).

  • Description: Wielders of power granted through otherworldly pacts
