Domain Features

Clerics who choose the Song Domain gain the following features:

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with one musical instrument of your choice. You also gain proficiency in the Performance skill.

Storyteller's Inspiration

Starting at 1st level, you can inspire others through performance. As a bonus action, you can choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains a Storyteller's Inspiration die, a d6.

Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Storyteller's Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Storyteller's Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.

Channel Divinity: Narrative Twist

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to alter the flow of events to match narrative patterns. As a reaction when you or an ally within 30 feet makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can grant that creature a +10 bonus to the roll. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails.

Voice of Authority

At 6th level, when you cast a spell with a spell slot of 1st level or higher and target an ally with the spell, that ally can use their reaction immediately after the spell to make one weapon attack against a creature of your choice that you can see. If the spell targets more than one ally, you choose the ally who can make the attack.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Master Storyteller

At 17th level, you gain significant narrative manipulation abilities. You can see the threads of story and fate, allowing you to influence how events unfold. Once per long rest, when you or an ally within 60 feet makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can cause that roll to automatically succeed (treating a natural 20 for attack rolls) or cause an enemy's attack roll, ability check, or saving throw to automatically fail (treating a natural 1). You must declare this use before the roll is made.
