Domain Features

Clerics who choose the Art Domain gain the following features:

Bonus Proficiency

At 1st level, you gain proficiency with one type of artisan's tools or one musical instrument of your choice.

Artistic Inspiration

At 1st level, you gain the ability to inspire others through your artistic expression. As a bonus action, you can present a performance (singing, painting, playing an instrument, etc.) and grant one creature you can see within 30 feet a d6 inspiration die. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll this die and add the result to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. The inspiration die increases to d8 at 5th level, d10 at 10th level, and d12 at 15th level.

Channel Divinity: Masterpiece

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to create a powerful artistic effect. As an action, you create a temporary work of art that has a magical effect based on the type of art you create:

  • Visual Art: You cast Major Image without expending a spell slot.
  • Performance: Up to three creatures of your choice within 60 feet that can see or hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you for 1 minute. While charmed, they regard you as friendly.
  • Music: Each creature of your choice within 30 feet regains hit points equal to 1d6 + your Wisdom modifier and can end one condition affecting it.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Living Art

At 17th level, you can transform yourself or others through artistic expression. As an action, you can cast Polymorph on yourself or another creature you can touch without expending a spell slot or material components. The transformation must be a form you have created through your art (a painting, sculpture, song, or story). You can use this feature once, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest.
